Creating a Magic-Glos® Pendant with a Polymer Clay Steampunk Fish
E40Z

STEP 1
Apply a small amount of Poly Bonder™ adhesive to the back side of the Steampunk fish. Press the fish into the glass surface of the watch component.
View the ''Creating a Polymer Clay Steampunk Fish'' how-to video for more information.
STEP 2
Apply Magic-Glos inside the watch component around the fish, approximately 1/8th of an inch. Rock the watch component around to spread the Magic-Glos to the edges. Add more Magic-Glos if needed to cover the entire surface of the watch.
Note: Magic-Glos is a self-leveling resin. This means that once it reaches the edges of the component, it will level itself out throughout the surface.
STEP 3
Add beads and gears of your choice. Place the watch component in direct sunlight or under a UV or LED lamp for approximately 10 - 15 minutes to cure.
Note: Adding crystals to resin will cause them to lose their luster, but they will keep their color.
STEP 4
Apply an additional layer of Magic-Glos to the watch component and over the surface of the Steampunk fish. Spread the resin to the edges by rocking or using a needle tool. Use a wet wipe or tissue to remove excess resin from the tool.
Tip: Use the needle tool to pop any bubbles that form in the resin.
STEP 5
Add more beads and gears as desired. Place one large gear along the top edge of the watch component to add depth. Cure once more according to manufacturer's instructions.
STEP 6
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 as desired to the edge of the watch component.
