Where do you live?
I live in the wonderful country of the Dolomites, World Heritage for the outstanding beauty, Italy.

Describe your artistic style.
I don't really have a specific style. I love to forge silver, gold and copper, to see how it improves at any working. Use gemstones and other materials to decorate my jewels. It is a challenge for me as well in these modern times, marked by waste, to create jewels recovering what humanity considers waste.

What inspires you as a designer-artist?
I find inspiration in the infinite beauty of nature.

What materials do you most enjoy working with?
Silver, gold, copper, gemstones and other different materials.

Rainbow for Peace

What inspired this design?
The conflict in the Middle East.

When and how did you begin making jewelry/beading?
I decided 12 years ago to combine casual imagines of nature with ancient goldsmith techniques developed in millennia and find my own way.

Who introduced you to beading?
From the early childhood I was in contact with arts and crafts in my family dealing in third generation with antique and jewelry. Living in the country taught me to observe nature and find inspiration in the infinite beauty and in its various textures like a piece of bark, the flying of birds, the trickle of water ...

What other hobbies do you have?
Languages, read, ride, swimming and be an artistic mother of two wonderful girls.

Do you belong to any beading societies or beading groups?
I'm president of the Art Association Laborane.

What role does jewelry-making play in your life?
It’s my life ... I love my work, I love to create with silver, gold and copper, to see how it improves at any working passage and grows into my poetic expression.

If you used jewelry-making as a way to bring in income, how are you selling yourself and your jewelry?
I have an E-shop and participate in different contests and awards; I won a 6th place by the American Art Award.

Do you participate in any charity fundraisers?
I teach gemology, goldsmithing and beading to children and adults.

Listen to the heart.
