Meet the Designer-Artist

Where do you live?
Allenstown, New Hampshire

What inspires you as a designer-artist?
Animals and nature inspires my designs. I have always dreamed of going to a safari and seeing all the exciting animals and that is why I design with a little animal in mind.

What medium do you work with mostly?
I mainly work with polymer clay and wire working supplies.

Why did you become enchanted with this style of jewelry-making?
I love the ability to add little details, with wire and clay.

Where and How do you sell your jewelry?
I mainly sell at craft fairs, my 2014 craft fairs are all at 25 Elm street Peterborough, New Hampshire and my website http://chickjewlz.moonfruit.com

What is the name of the piece you submitted with your success story?
The Safari Zone

What inspired this design?
The children's fabric with the fantastic animals and the cheery smiles.

How did it come together?
I started making more happy safari faces out of clay layer by layer and it started to form the fabric of happy kids. Then I strung them all together with wooden beads and some seed beads and it made a happy smile.
