Where do you live?

Describe your artistic style.
Forward thinking new trends, look and feel of fine jewelry.

What inspires you as a designer-artist?
Beauty, making a person feel special and unique and creating new styles for women that desire a different yet forward and glamorous look.

What materials do you most enjoy working with?
Crystal, sterling silver and 14Kt gold-filled chain, earring wires and pearls. Fresh water and oyster pearls.

What is the name of the piece you submitted with your success story?
Golden Shadow Premium Necklace

What inspired this design?
Look created for a bride or mother of the bride, boldly inspired with a high shine and stage presence in mind. Golden colors like a canary yellow diamond effect.

How did it come together?
Laid out all of the crystals and freshwater pearls and the style created itself as I thought about an inspirational look for a small or larger women. A bold yet princess feel.

When and how did you begin making jewelry/beading?
Raised in fine jewelry business with catalogs of jewelry and in site visits and work from a young age. Learned simple techniques at a young age and applied the technique of looping to create a four strand bracelet for fun.

Do you have an artistic background?
Make-up artistry from a young age and as a career from age 23-35.

Online.

What role does jewelry-making play in your life?
I opened a store based on creating different lines of jewelry from simple corded crystals to suede lariats and everyday fine jewelry with crystals to bridal and social jewelry.

If you used jewelry-making as a way to bring in income, how are you selling yourself and your jewelry?
Website, store front in a mall, wholesale, email blasts, Facebook, Twitter, advertising wrap on my hummer H2.

Do you participate in any charity fundraisers?
Give to many charities.

Any advice for aspiring jewelry-artists?
Inspire yourself by looking at all kinds of jewelry, reading about jewelry designs, all kinds of art, etc. Look through catalogs of simple to intricate designs.
